Hydroponic Marijuana Plants – pH Levels
The pH level that your marijuana plants need when they are being grown in a hydroponic garden will be different then they will need if growing in a different environment. Ideally the pH level of your nutrient solution should sit somewhere around 5.5 to 6.8 but the preferred area would be between 5.8 and 6.3. The type of marijuana strain that you are growing will change what the pH level should optimally be set at.
Extremes
There have been people that grow marijuana plants and still have positive results with the pH level dropping to 5.0 and that might be alright for certain marijuana strains. For the majority of dope plants you won’t want it that low. At the worst don’t let your marijuana plants sit with a pH level past the extremes of 5.0 and 7.0.
Promptly after you put new nutrient solution into your reservoir and mix it in you should measure the pH level. The nutrients you mix in modify the pH level in the water. You should make sure that you are checking your marijuana plants for a healthy pH level at least once every week but twice a week would be better but is not necessary.
